Jacob Rehard

Dr. Jake grew up in Southern Wyoming, and after graduating from University of Wyoming and Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine, he relocated to Montrose where he lives with his wife, Jennifer, and two kids, Hannah and Asher. Jake loves to spend time with his family, and depending on the season, he can be found hunting, fishing, or talking sports! He is excited to be starting BCVC, and feels that we have something fresh and exciting to offer our community. Jake’s special interests include orthopedic surgery, preventative medicine, and herd health. Come in anytime to meet Jake and the rest of the team!
Rachel Blankmeyer
DVM
Dr. Rachel knew from a young age that animals were her passion! Now she gets to provide excellent, quality medicine to pets and do what she loves every single day. Born and raised in Indiana, she attended Purdue University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, and has loved living in Ridgway with her family for the last several years. Her husband, Jim, and she own several horses and other critters, and keep busy always enjoying life with their four kiddos who keep life interesting! Rachel’s special interests include canine reproduction, small animal dentistry, swine, poultry, and camelid medicine. Stop by soon, because Dr. Rachel can’t wait to meet you and your pet!
Maria Rittenhouse
DVM
Dr. Maria Rittenhouse received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the
Virginia- Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (Virginia Tech). She also received
her bachelors in Animal Science from Virginia Tech. Growing up outside of
Richmond, Virginia, Maria was always drawn to the rocky mountain west. She
relocated from Wyoming to Montrose with her significant other. In her free time,
Maria enjoys riding her horse, Stella, hiking with her dog, Flee, and crafting. Her
professional interests include internal medicine, preventative medicine, and
dentistry.
